Carlo Tricoli, the Managing Director and owner of CARMAR is fantastic! In need of fuel, en route to Greece, we telephoned Carlo who assured us in perfect English, "call any time, I will meet you at the fuel dock". After two very long and difficult days of travel from Siracusa to Crotone, we arrived at a beautiful and clean fuel dock, equipped with a high speed pump and Carlo, true to his word, ready to help us. He provided the most considerate experience we have had in our more than 12 months cruising in the Mediterranean. As one captain said, "He is famous!" And we can thoroughly understand why, the fueling is more than a business for Mr. Tricoli, it is a venue to connect meaningfully with people. Jill & Robert M/V Two Oars
